If you actually have an application in progress, you will probably have to complete the process in that county.
As an out-of-state resident you can apply in any county, so if they turned you away without taking your application you can apply in any other county. (As long as that county will process out-of-state applications. Some don't, although they have no legal basis for refusing.)
However, rereading your original post and the one I quoted above, I gather you already applied and were approved in Adams and are just waiting to obtain the actual license/permit document. In which case as a practical matter you probably need to go back to them to finish the process.Last edited by twency; July 6th, 2012 at 09:54 PM.
