I can't wait. It's little brother Mark III Target is a tack driver. I'm anxious to see how I fare with the Volquartsen grips. I was a little disappointed to see there are no predrilled drilled holes for an optics rail mount. Oh well. there are other options if I go that route in the future.

Go ahead and have it drilled and tapped, we tried all of the other options and were not satisfied. The only other option we like is to mill a 3/8" rim fire sized mount in the receiver. Ours was done on the wife's bull barrel as a favor but suspect that a shop would charge more than tapping it.
The slip on mounts we tried lifted the optic too far above center and were klutzy.

I think that is the first 10" model I have seen...not that I even knew about them before this. I bet she is a blast to shoot.

Not to bad actually, I'm 6'3" 190lbs. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.. Plus the Volquartsen grip helps. It is not a one hander, well it could be but like said earlier it carries like a pistol and shoots like a riffle.

I tried sighting it one handed.. I had better luck with a second hand to steady it.

The nice thing is my bore sight fits and I can see whee I am aiming, I adjusted sights.. Now I need range time!

Very cool, my brother and I share a 10 MKII stainless we picked up on this forum. Great pistol, very reliable with bulk ammo and way more accurate than either one of us. Great find, good luck with it!
