Re: Can you use your LTCF as a valid form of Photo ID?
I've used mine for a primary and secondary ID.
1. The TSA guys at Pittsburgh and San Antonio airports had no problem with it at the security checkpoints.
2. The Brookville PD, PSP, and PLCB agents accepted it during a raid at a bar a few years ago.
3. And the Du Bois police had no problem with it either as a voluntary ID for contact info for a DUI accident I witnessed(was giving oral statement to one officer, while another was writing down our info - kinda hard to talk to two LEOs at the same time).
4. The girls at Farmers National Bank in Du Bois took it when I opened an account years ago.
5. Countless doormen at bars do a double check when presenting it, but never question the use of it.

Buddy of mine used his last week at the airport because he forgot his DL. They told him that his CCW was fine and that it happens more often that you'd think.

I have before. When we went to the Pentagon I needed two forms of ID to get in... the only other thing I had was my LTCF... they took it.

PNC Bank is ass backwards. They wouldn't let me close my savings account there but my bf went in and they let him close my account and he opened a joint account for us in which they gave him a piece of paper that had all my info including my SSN. Good thing I trust him
When my bf first got his we were in Sprint and I was getting a phone added to the plan and he had to show ID that is what he used and I think that is why.

Re: Can you use your LTCF as a valid form of Photo ID?
I got my LTCF from Centre County. It's the older style. I mailed in a passport photo and he attached it with scotch tape. It's got to be the worst looking official document I own. And instead of shrinking it down and laminating it I keep it the way I received it.

PNC Bank does NOT accept a L.T.C.F. as another form of ID. Open an account recently with my father for business, and the lady said it wasn't "acceptable", she wanted a credit card instead.
For the life of me, I couldn't figure out the common sense angle on that one.
