    I thought that the early subcompacts had finger grooves on the frontstrap, but they were smooth (not textured like the backstrap)... Whereas the later subcompacts have texturing inside the finger grooves that mimics that of the backstrap?

    Of course I have been Glock-less for a while now, so I might indeed be mistaken...
