I'm no machinist but my supplier told me that coated end mill is not good with AL. At least not what his are coated with.

They're coated with Zirconium Nitride, which is designed for aluminum, and is better than uncoated. It is true that a lot of coatings are bad to use with aluminum, but this one is good.
