Good. Because by this point, most people seem to have vacated being concerned about it.
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government.

Tried reading it, but I read on a non-lawyer level, so not 100% sure what it means.

Sweet, hopefully this means we'll start to see more braced pistols back in the gun shops soon.

Nice to see a bad rule vacated on procedural grounds, and I do NOT fault the plaintiffs lawyers for declining to rely on the 2nd Amdt, when procedural grounds got them the win. I also applauded Alan Gura in the Heller case, even as he declined to aim for a bridge too far and get MG's covered in the first case.

I got 3 SBR's registered for $600 less than the usual $600 taxes. Yay me.

I don't live in fear, but neither do I have a rosy view of what Democrats will stoop to if I become an annoyance; look at the abusive Trump prosecutions. Look at all the Trump lawyers under disbarment proceedings. Look at Alex Jones and his billion-dollar judgment.

Some hills are worth dying to defend. Brace stocks were not one of those hills.

Don*t hold your breath. I*m sure the DOJ/AFT will appeal to the Fifth Circuit to get an injunction of the vacatur while the case plods through the system. Given that the Fifth ruled in our favor in the Cargill (bumpstock) case as another overreach by AFT I*m giving 50/50 odds that they will grant said injunction.

No matter who wins at the Circuit level it*s then off to the U.S. Supreme Court where they may or may not grant Cert. If we win in the Fifth and the SC denies Cert it*s over for AFT and we win. If we lose at the Circuit level but Cert is granted at the SC it*s another 2-3 years of waiting.

I can only guess but I think the democrats are going to let it go for now.

I think they will come back around to it someday with legislation.

I believe the next scheme of theirs will be to go after ammunition to tighten, restrict and increase the cost of the ammo.

Have all the braces and suppressors you want or AR 15s but if you can't afford to shoot them, hahaha.

That I believe will be their next ploy.

So what’s the deal here? I’m in the market for an AR pistol. Shopping online, I’m finding lots of choices with just buffer tubes. I understand they shifted their inventory when the ban happened and they now are looking to unload those ugly things

But most sites still have braced pistols listed as NFA items.

This ruling was not challenged with an appeal. AFAIK, it’s dead…short of Congress going through the bill process.
