CZ7 compact put the rubber base pads on mags. Waiting on set of Lok grips and that's it for now.

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
This is my Christmas present and one year retirement anniversary celebration present to me. Ah, that's a load of horse hockey. I just felt I needed one of these just because. It's a Sig Sauer Mark 25. I bought the Blackpoint holster for it. They made the holsters for Sig Sauer and put a big round Sig emblem on it but they were sold out so I bought their plain black one with the black leather wings. Since the Mark 25 has a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail on it I wrote to Blackpoint and asked if the P226w/rail holster would fit the Mark 25. The P226w/rail has a Sig proprietary rail on it. They wrote back to me in less than a day to tell me that they used the Mark 25 as the mold and would fit both the P226w/rail and the Mark 25. It took about five weeks from the time I ordered the holster until it arrived at my front door. Blackpoint is a top shelf holster manufacturer in my opinion.
The pistol itself performed flawlessly during the first trip to the TSS Range in Avondale. I shot about 250-275 rounds through it with different loads. The pistol's trigger is a bit different than my all stainless steel P220 and I'm not going to put the short reset trigger kit in it because it's entirely unnecessary for me. I'm not one of those click bandits that hold the trigger back after the shot and have to hear an audible click of the trigger reset. I wasn't taught to shoot that way nor will I learn to do that. The Sig full size pistols fit my hand even though the Mark 25 is just a bit larger that the P220. They both fit the same holsters. The full size pistols aren't exactly designed for concealed carry but I live in Pennsylvania where it's not a big issue if you print or it's partially visible as long as you have your LTCF you're good to go.

Thanks Berncly. Ever been to an old time Barber? Those were towels that were used by Barbers back in the day. My friend's father was a Barber in Philly. Years later when I helped her Mother move back in 2008 Mom gave me a big folded pile of those towels she had saved up. I use them for all sorts of things.
Tell the truth Jen, it was the little anchor that made you do it! Nice pistol and nice holster too! Has it been a year already? Tempus Fugit!
