I tried to use mine to get into Presque Isle Downs Casino in Erie. They would not accept it.

    Necro thread:

Univest bank: no go. “Its not a primary ID” “its not in the system” “its bank policy”

Truist bank: yes, but you will likely have to speak with the bank manager. No go on drive thru.

Bird in Hand bank: all kosher, they are 2A friendly

Wells Fargo: good to go for account opening as a second ID

i was at a concert and had to show id to get beer (one pint). lady tried to use a bar code scanner on the back of my Utah CFP...i started to laugh a bit and asked if she saw a barcode to scan (there isn't). needless to say, she didn't accept it but the next bar lady did. evidently, as the first lady told me, everyone has a DL and so should I.

sadly, most people don't like to think and if you give them something different, they won't make a decision on their own. at some point, common sense should take over - especially when some old fart is trying to purchase a pint at a concert.

Corporate drones. Mostly it is a violation of policy for them to think.
And that's probably a good idea and sane policy given what we are dealing with.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Legally, the LTCF is NOT a form of ID. But some places will accept it as such, and when they do it is usually just as secondary ID.

I detailed my usages on post #11.

The TSA guy at Pittsburgh gave a quick chuckle when I handled him my LTCF as 2nd ID, then said something like "yeah, you're clear". The TSA guy in Texas did a double look at it, then at me, then handed DL and LTCF and said "next". Haven't flown since that trip to Lackland AFB to see the ex's son graduate basic. Their attitude may have since changed.

Have used mine for secondary Id more times than I can count. No problems and so far always accepted. Granted sometimes a strange look or a smile maybe even a thumbs up.

Banks wouldn't accept it, but a credit card will do So I would deface he numbers on the card so they couldn't copy them. It worked.

I handed mine to the officer who pulled me over for expired registration.
"This is your license to carry - do you have your driver's license?"

Ooops! I really should get bifocals. I saw the photo on the card and just assumed it was my DL when I pulled my cards out of my pocket.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
