PMSC Group Shooters RSO Training Class Interest

I just talked to the instructor, he said thay have not set a date yet. He will check with the other instructors and make sure the 26th will work for them.

I'll let you all know when he lets me know!



There is still room in the class if anyone else wants in!

Here's the list so far (5 definate 5 maybe)

They are:

3) Bellae
4) RoyalFlush88
5) Joe Smith (I think)
6) EmptyMag (maybe... Needs a ride)
7) Montanya (Depends on date)
8) Falcn (Depends on date)
9) Excelon
10) Clueless (depends on date)

There is still plenty of room. Anyone I missed, or anyone need taken off the list? Just PM me!

Remember you don't have to take this class, you won't hurt my feelings! Any class will do, as long as we get people certified!

No word on the date yet sorry. When I get to a real PC (on my phone now) I'll Post directions. Yes, bring checks to class (1 for the instructor, 1 for the instructor to send to NRA with your test results) and I will try to get in touch with the instructor Monday.

Another thing. How are the people contributing to the general RSO fund to get that money to whoever is collecting it?

Some (maybe all)will be at the PMSC group shoot.

Any thoughts on how to distribute it?

as for this, I think it should go to those who have put in alot of RO time or contributed an effort in other ways at the shoots, AND based on actual need...

count me in, I am already a NRA Basic Instructor,and I would like to add the RSO rating and help out at the shoots. I also dont mind paying out of my own pocket. I spend between $2k-4k a year training anyway.....

Did you read the first post? I don't recall seeing you much at the shoots, but maybe I'm wrong... As long as you plan to help out at the shoots, and no one has any objections, you're in...

I would like to restrict this class to only those who attend the group shoots at PMSC and are willing to pull some RO duty.

As for your PM, pleas see my last 2 posts prior to this one, and that will answer all your questions.

wow that is North of Butler. thats 1 hr and 40 min drive for me. I am STILL IN but it is going to be a haul to get there for me. I am definitely up for car pooling if someone is near Bridgeville or 79 north from there is going. I live near Finleyville but I am guessing no one lives probably near me ...

I am all for need based ... but since everyone taking the RO class is giving up time for the group (assuming they will RO at some of the shoots)... how about some of the money at least go toward getting coffee and donuts for the class or lunch?

Total (class and NRA fees) would be:

$26 for NRA member OR $36 for non NRA members + $30 for the class = $56 for NRA members OR $66 for non NRA members

Remember these apply to any NRA RSO class! It gets paid straight to the NRA, NOT the instructor!

You have to pay to re cert every year, that cost is:

1yr $6 NRA member, $11 non member
2yrs $11.50 NRA member, $21.50 non member
3yrs $17 NRA member, $31 non member

The RSO training packet is $17 (click for link to it) this is included in the $30 fee...

Just a reminder (Jake you may want to add this info to the thread start)... I did a little reducing of you original posts (hope you don't mind)..

OK, I finally got in touch with the guy. He can't do the 26th, but can do the 27th. Hope this dosen't mess things up with too many people!

So the date is set for the 27th of Sept. Start time has not been set yet. He mentioned 9:00am... He will get back to me tonight to set the time. Does 9:00am work for you guys?
