WalMart restrictions
My local WallyWorld (Waynesboro) has a sign up on the ammo case restricting sales to 6 boxes at a time. Guy said it's to allow more customers availibilty. OK I can see this now--I'll take 6 boxes of .45 please. 5 minutes later-hi I'll take 6 boxes of .45 please; what? no I haven't been in here before, must have been my twin brother. Darrell meet Darrell.

Re: WalMart restrictions
talk to the manager... walmart doesn't have this policy, and it is probably some old f*** who thinks he is god and can ration out the ammo at his will.
if the manager sides with the SG people, call corporate.

Re: WalMart restrictions
There was some of that before, but I believe it is corporate policy now. A guy on Uzitalk said he recently saw a fax from corporate to all stores saying they were allowed to limit ammo purchases in order to have ammo to sell with the guns they sell. For what it is worth, I believe this guy. Went to my local Walmart a few days later, and I now have the 6 box maximum sign.

Re: WalMart restrictions
I have gone to the point of not buying ammo at Walmart anymore. They are just becoming more anti self protection with not allowing you to OC, things like what has been brought up in this thread, couple of different times that I have heard that certain ones have posted signs on their doors.
I would rater patron places like Cabelas, Army-Navy, pro bass shops, even the other local smaller shops that you will find in every town, these places that allow lawful gun owners their ability to practice their rights.
Why continue to give $$ to Walmart?"Our government has no power except that granted it by the people."

Re: WalMart restrictions
17 boxes of 9mm WWB (1700 rounds) won't last me 3 months. 2,000 rounds of 22 won't last me 3 weeks. How much would you like me to buy?

Re: WalMart restrictions
Geez...you'd think they were congress or something...telling me what I can do with my own money, or how much of anything I'm allowed to buy.

Re: WalMart restrictions
FYI, it wasn't all for me... I bout 4 boxes for each of my friends and 5 for myself.
I wonder how many of you preaching about hoarding ammo have 2-3k rounds in your basement? if not, you should begin, because everyone else isn't going to stop.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
