The news is making it out it's trumps plan.

Trump has already had his convention. His platform is already stated. It's not ambiguous BS like Harris. It's all laid out. Project 2025 as a position paper in it's entirety is not part of the GOP or Trump Platform. Read Comment #19 again. That post is about as concise as it can get on what this all means. The media is trying desperately to make P-2025 a boogerman to the undecided voter. It's a conservative wish list. It's designed to at the very least re-jigger the priorities and hopefully the policy and practices needle to point back toward the right. Our government has gotten way too crazy with the Left Wingery, the Deep State nonsense, the unelected regulatory bureaucracy, and also DEI, Identity Politics, Woke ideology, BLM, Open Borders, Destroying the Military, Social Engineering, Transing the Kids, Marxist/Socialist ideology, censorship, criminalizing political differences, DOJ excesses, plans to destroy the Supreme Court, etc etc. We need to go the opposite sane and normal direction desperately as a nation. That's what P-2025 is. The media is trying to make it some scary dictatorship mandate. It's the exact opposite. It fights against authoritarianism.

Revenge of the Walking Project 2025

Remember the ABC presidential debate when moderators kept offering their own rebuttals of Donald Trump but not of Kamala Harris? For example, while disputing various Trump comments, the moderators never corrected Ms. Harris as she repeatedly described Project 2025, a collection of policy proposals published by the Heritage Foundation, as Mr. Trump’s plan. The problem was not unique to ABC. During this year’s campaign season media folk were so diligent in airing Democratic claims tying Project 2025 to Mr. Trump that one could almost argue he now has a mandate to enact it.

During the ABC debate and throughout the campaign Mr. Trump emphasized that it wasn’t his plan and he hadn’t read it but understood it contained some good ideas along with some bad ones. Let’s hope that the very best of these ideas become official policy now that Mr. Trump has the opportunity to do what Democrats promised he would.

Russ Vought, who authored a chapter on “Executive Office of the President” for Project 2025’s “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise,” which Project 2025 describes as “a comprehensive policy guide for the next conservative U.S. president,” is under consideration for a cabinet-level position in the next administration and has been vetted by Trump’s transition team, sources said.
Vought not only authored a chapter in the 922-page Project 2025 plan, but he was also deeply involved in drafting Project 2025’s playbook for the first 180 days of a new Trump administration. His Center for Renewing America is also listed as a member of Project 2025’s advisory board, according to the plan’s website.

Mr. Vought may soon have the solemn duty of ensuring that a promise made by Kamala Harris is a promise kept.
