Default 😎 Local medical center now offering 24/7 healthcare

🤗 CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa — One medical facility in Cambria County says it is now offering one of the first services in the state.

The Lifeline Medical Center, located on Eisenhower Boulevard in Johnstown, will now be offering care for 24 hours.

Health officials say the grand opening for the 24-hour service was two weeks ago.

They say the facility has primary care providers and provides any healthcare need.

Lifeline Medical Center also accepts any insurance, and walk-in appointments are welcomed, but you are still encouraged to make an appointment.

"Being 24/7, we have the ability to do a lot. So, we can do blood draws, we'll have portable x-rays here within the next couple of months. We have EKG's, we're able to do IVs. So, I’m hoping with the 24 hour we're able to reduce the number of patients in the ER,” says Lexy Porada, RN, and assistant office manager of Lifeline Medical Center.

Health officials say the goal is to outgrow the current building and move into another building in Johnstown and create a one stop shop for services such as pediatrics and dentistry.

24/7 healthcare? Seems like a novel idea. Maybe we can call it a Hospital?
