    There's a parking garage right next to the zoo.

    Oh? When did they build that?

    Edit: Google is only showing the same 2 street level lots that have been there for many years. Both require a nice hike through the aforementioned war zone to get to a gate.

    You can pre-pay and park in a guarded and fenced smaller lot inside the zoo fences...
