Re: Question on jframe trigger issue
Also revolvers are fickle when you start changing internal components the spring that was changed may very well also affect other operations within the gun believe it or not. I have been learning a lot about revolvers lately ( my buddy keeps breaking his in various ways I keep learning how to help him fix them.) It's crazy how simple they seem until you start really understanding how everything works in time so to speak.

Re: Question on jframe trigger issue
Timing is exactly what became the problem with my Colt Detective Special purchased (and carried since) 1961. The original timing problem was cured by lengthening the hand with prickpunch and hammer. Years later it really went south. A gunsmith had it for a year and gave up on it (no charge). Hindsight (futile dealing with Colt) shows the 6th shot was not worth it. Should have bought the five-shot Smith.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
