For the state laws that already exist, no effect.

But this ruling is almost certain to light a fire under more anti-gunners butts to pass more unconstitutional gun control at the state level across the country. Be prepared. Make sure your Reps hear from you again now about your opposition to any new gun control and let them know you want your rights back.

With the ATF getting trounced on the brace rule too, now is the time to make noise about removing SBRs, SBSs, and suppressors from the NFA. Sure it won't pass right now, but it is a timely reminder that this affects 10s of millions of Americans for absolutely no reason. We need to keep the Dems playing defense instead of introducing more tyranny.

Finally a Supreme Court decision that goes with the US Constitution, that's a rare occurrence. There is a prescribed manner on how laws are made in the US Constitution and none of it involves a bureaucrat making one up.
