    Interesting to read these comments in this way back machine from this 2014 thread, which was back during Obummer's administration. Remember the line in the sand he didn't back up?

    In any case, Putin announced he will accept a ceasefire truce if Zelenskyy agrees to stay out of NATO and Russia keeps it's claimed territory. Now, I'm no Putin puppet, but I don't think he's wrong, at least about the NATO part. We wouldn't want Mexico aligning with Iran, China and North Korea. As for the territory, it's mostly pro-Russian anyway. While I wouldn't want to necessarily reward Putin for his initial aggression, but what more price must be paid in Ukraine lives and Russian conscripts to continue this meat grinder?
