Made my only one. Lancer lower, Anderson LPK with an ALG ACT FCG (purple hammer spring), milspec stock, spring, buffer, DPMS complete upper including bolt carrier and charging handle. Shoots like a champ after replacing the FCG that came with the Anderson kit and had reset problems.

I think the best thing to do is get one and start training. Get the best you can afford easily, a ton of ammo & mags, and train train train.
