If I was 16 again I'd be all over trying to make it big on YouTube/TikTok etc. The older you get the tougher it becomes with a full time job, kids and other responsibilities.

I had started a gun channel a few years ago with the intent to get monetized and there's a lot of work that goes into it. Between loading up guns/ammo, driving to the range, setting up camera equipment, shooting the video with different angles/takes then packing everything up, driving home, editing video clips then uploading.

To do like a 5 minute video probably takes about 8 hours worth of time, what I should have done was multiple videos each visit at the range to help optimize a bit. Between YT getting more draconic towards guns and us having a baby I've pretty much given up on trying to grow it.

If I ever decided to get back into it, I'd rework my current channel and turn it mainly into gun related news. Much easier in terms of recording/editing and no real costs to do it.

There are other ways, like take money from foreign countries, and stop wasting taxpayers money on fighting other peoples wars.
Paying taxes is not and never will be "patriotic" like some believe it to be. It's nothing but theft.
