Just trying to help out...a lady friend wants to know if whole, uncut cucumbers present any concern?

Damn...cucumbers make up the bulk of my salads.
There are no pacts between lions and men.

Re: 🙊Cucumbers recalled in 14 states due to salmonella risk
I'm sure the investigation we won't hear about will determine the infection came from the people handling the cukes during picking and packing. They're shitting without washing their hands before returning to work. Always wash your produce before peeling it, there is a spray that you can clean it too. When you're buying produce, if the skin is punctured, don't buy that one, infection can be inside and no cleaning is going to resolve that.
Don't buy store sliced melons, lots of ways to get infected with them.Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Glad cucumbers don't like me. Pickles are OK.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.
