And just to test, I went and bought a new .17 HMR this afternoon. Plan to go introduce it to some groundhogs in the near future. In, and out of the LGS in 30 minutes.

I was also given a pardon on April, 26. I was under the impression that expungment would be automatic as the expungment bill was signed into law in December. I emailed the BOP and they said that automatic expungments doesn't start until June. And the kicker is its not retroactive... if you want an expungment; you need another access and review from psp ($22 money order, paperwork, send snail mail and wait 2-3 months). Get that, fill out expungment paperwork at the clerk of courts, give $250 per charge, wait 3 more months, than you can get it expunged.
It's not nessassary to go shooting and have fun but I've come this far... In for a dime, in for a dollar

I have heard this, but I've also heard that June will be the first quarterly reporting from the BOP to the AOPC on pardons granted during the previous 3 months. The bill was signed by the Governor in December, and the law took effect in February so I was hoping I didn't need to spend any money on the expungement. I did email the clerk of courts in my county to ask, but they weren't sure how it's going to work yet. I'm in no hurry for the expungement, so I'll wait until the end of the year to see what happens and go from there.

Thanks everyone! Just another update, I did pick up my LTCF on Friday at the local sheriffs office. So anyone else in the same situation, if you're absolutely certain there is nothing else in your record that would prohibit you, go ahead and apply, and file the challenge if denied. Much quicker avenue than the 4-6 months that an expungement will take.
