It's a British territory, not some shit hole like Haiti.

Their official currency is the U.S. Dollar. Using a standard PPP (purchasing power parity) calculator, $6000 U.S. is the equivalent of $6120 in TCI, not same fantastic amount of money.

In other words, $6K US is about the same as $6K there.
