    Default Shooting land

Looking for private land to shoot on in or near Lackawanna county. State Game Land Range is losing its charm rapidly. Would like a spot to do some more active shooting with my son.

    Thanks in advance.

It looks like there are some 20+ acre parcels available for between $120k and $215k. Put it in a trust and he'll have a place to shoot forever.

I*ve been thinking of doing this. It*s not as easy as I thought. First I*d like to shoot 3-400 yards so it has to have a clear path or I have to make one $$$$. Also have to consider backstops, neighbors, access, etc.

I haven*t given up, just haven*t found the right place yet.

    And really hard to clean.

Join a sportsmen's club. There are probably many around you. It is Pennsylvania after all.

Finding a stranger to let you shoot on their private land as you wish is probably a long shot.

You have better odds hitting the pick six than gaining access to someone*s private property, double it if for shooting purposes.

I'm about 20 minutes north of you in Factoryville, and the Factoryville Gun Club is accepting new members.
