I drove though four communist states yesterday. I made sure to de-felonize my car by removing anything firearms or weapon related. Except for the Cold Steel special forces shovel, but that's not a weapon, it's a shovel.

I would think that any gun powder residue would set off the explosives sniffer, or cause a bomb dog give it the stink eye. I wouldn't want to give the TSA an excuse for any extra enhance screenings.

Interestingly I find myself agreeing with free. Why do the rest of us have to be affected by the actions of a few who fail to adhere to another countries laws? I can*t go to Turks & Caicos because of these guys? Is it my fault they can*t follow the laws of other countries?

How many of you posting on here were ecstatic when Brittany Griner was detained and imprisoned in Russia because she *forgot* she had some weed oil on her? Hypocrite much ?

You're comparing apples to dung beetles.

Possession of Mary Jane is isn't a constitutionally protected right. It is illegal, even though it has been "decriminalized" by some sanctuary cities and states. In the same way that The Right to Bear Arms has been illegally infringed upon, and violated, by some cities and states.

I think tlnzz1's point was, Turks and Caicos would quickly remedy the situation when faced with the loss of tourist revenue, and a few empty brass cases would not be basis for arrest and imprisonment.

Talking about apples to dung beetles! You know we are talking about foreign countries laws, not the Constitution of the US. Doesn*t matter what is legal, semi legal or illegal here, when you bring it there.

I would hope not. That sounds like a Democrat thing to do. Change THEIR law because a few careless Americans can*t pack correctly.

Bags are easy to check compared to checking the truck before having to go to dirty Jersey.

Sometimes it is necessary to point out the consequences of a law, and its affects, in order to protect the rights of one's own citizens, which is what government is responsible for. Then it is up to the lawmakers in the other country to decide which is more important, their law, or the welfare of their own citizens. Not democratic at all, but republican.

I was replying this part of your post, not about breaking other countries' laws.

While we're at it, let's compare what our .gov and state dept did to gain her release vs what they'll do for these folks. Releasing one of the world's most prolific illegal arms traders vs (I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess) nothing.

Apparently, woke lesbian WNBA players are more important than former Marines wrongly accused of espionage by the Rooskies.

I have no pity or sympathy for thease idiots. Neither do I care about the STUPID Americans who travel in Mexico and wind up in a cartels BBQ pit.
