Just looking for recommendations or what do you run. I have a carbine length gas system with Aframe front sight post not looking to spend $800 on the rail but I have played a mall ninja on tv and I have trained with Detroit urban survival so let me know what you rec or run in your rifle

Re: AR quad rail
I have a couple OTiS Technology TRS-74 Quad AR Hand Guards (7', one piece free float) that I haven't decided what to build with them yet (rainy day projects). They were bought a while back and then people went gaga over the real small diameter hand guards and didn't even want to consider one that was 1 3/4" ID. Will they come back in vogue? Who knows but they are well built so I'll hang on to them for now.

And on that note...
Perfect timing! As I understand it, quad rails are coming back in style.
I have NO idea WHY though.
Nostalgia?
It's certainly not for the comfort.
I don't get it, but everyone is not me, so I'm glad there are a gazillion options to suit any want/need.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: AR quad rail
So my reasoning for it is the magpul stuff that came stock on my rifle moves approx 1/4-3/8” side to side and I have a stubbie vert grip on it so it’s very noticeable I assumed the quad rail would be more firm

Re: AR quad rail
I dunno. I only have one carbine with A2 front sight that has a Magpul MOE handguard with MOE fore grip.
Never noted any play - and that would bug the shit out of me, so I would notice.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
