Default 🤔 Noisy Burgin gun range frustrates neighbors

C'mon Karen you knew before buying a house a BOOM BOOM place was there it's like moving next to a railway station and upset because of hearing the metal of cars coupling.

BURGIN, Ky. (LEX 18) * Some people living in Burgin are speaking out after they say a neighbor's gun range has ruined their peace.

Janet Dollar's home sits right across the street from the gun range.

"We purchased our home during the winter months, so we didn't hear any gunfire during that time. As soon as springtime hit, it was nonstop. There were many mornings that we woke to cannons firing, multiple gunshots, round after round," Dollar explained.

Dollar says they still own that home but moved down the road.

Yes. A stray cannon round could ruin your whole day.

That's the lead story for their news. A lot better than the 5:30 edition of 69 News Berks County which is almost always a drug bust, gang fight, murder or drive by.

Wow, wealthy enough to purchase multiple houses and leave that one vacant but not smart enough to do research on a house before buying it.

I brought this up before, but the industrial building next to our 300-Yard range was purchase last year and the new owner immediately tried to have the 300-yard range shutdown and I quote, "Who's going to rent this building if you guys are over their shooting next door? What if someone wanted to rent it for a daycare?" After calling the local police on us for an unsafe range, they then called the ATF about us renting machine guns, then they called the PA DEP about us shooting into water, etc. After six months of hassling us, he did end up renting it to a business and haven't heard from him since. My attorney kept asking him, "Why did you buy a building beside a gun range if you thought it was going to be a problem?"
