Re: How to be less shaky in high adrenaline situations
The strange thing about adrenaline dumps are, what can set them off. For me it can also be a sudden loud noise. Yet I can watch a car crash and remain completely calm. For some its gun shots and explosions. I have found that exposure to the cause of the issue can help ease the problem. So, try going where its noisy.
I was going to bust his chops too, but he lives in a city.

The only way to get better at performing while in an adrenaline dump is.. performing while in an adrenaline dump. Ask any LEO or martial artist, you can train deep breathing or tactics all you want, but being able to remain calm in chaos comes with repetition.

Re: How to be less shaky in high adrenaline situations
One thing you could do, which SF training does...pick up a concrete block and run 25 yards, drop it and shoot...repeat. This gets the heart rate up as to imitate stress. In order to properly train you need to generate a situation close to what it would be if in a defensive situation. If you're referring to bench shooting with a rifle, you need to control breathing to slow heart rate. It all takes repetition and practice.

Thought about this too- wanted to start reducing the fear response to be more calm and collected when intense moments arise
