Re: Coleman Stove
Cool. I posted about that stove deal in another prepping thread here several months ago when I saw it at Ollies.
I'm shocked that there are still some out there to be had for that price.
Exact same stove at Walmart is I believe $50 now. It's just the most basic model, but sometimes that's all you need.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Yeah, I went because I did see your posting it. It took me a while to get there, but there were two left and I got one of them. It suits the purpose for occasional outside, cooking and then for anytime when I really have no other alternative.

Re: Coleman Stove
Also get a refill adapter for the empty 1 pound cylinders. Those things are expensive and it really is a waste to throw the heavy can away after using just 1 pound of propane. There are different types but this simple one works. It is best to weigh the empty can and tare it. Then make sure you don't overfill and just put one pound in. This takes some trial and error. Another tip is to use a baggie of ice to put on top of the can when filling since it needs to be colder than the tank for the gas to flow.
I also bought some brass caps with a gasket for a few dollars a piece and always keep them on the cans when storing. Just a little extra insurance for when the can is in a hot car or in your basement.

Re: Coleman Stove
I have one of those at camp and use it frequently up there, for now. I only use the 1 lb bottles for lights and I'm working on LED lights and a solar setup. I never worried about overfill because it seems to me, the problem is getting it full to start with. Cool the small bottle, heat the big bottle if you can and leave them sit for a long time. The good thing is that it's not really important if you get a full lb in there or not.

Those caps look nice. I got my adapter from Cabela's IIRC.
