Re: Harrisburgh Great Outdoor show
I've never been to this event. Do I understand that there's no firearm, parts or accessories sold here? More like a manufacturer's midway?

Re: Harrisburgh Great Outdoor show
No firearms but they do have parts, ammo and accessories. Not a lot like an actual gun show. But enough that sprinked in with the manufacturers, archery stuff, fishing stuff and flea market style section, makes for a good way to kill the day with my kiddos.
Had p80s last year flying off the table.
I almost bought a thermal spotter at a great price but passed.

I like the prepaid credit card idea. Don*t know why it didn*t occur to me. Thanks. Your chances of getting hacked seem to go up with the small numerous purchases. Let them hack a temp card.

It's been 10 years. Should be able to figure it out by now. This has been an NRA sponsored show since the organizers of the original Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show in Harrisburg got woke just after Sandy Hook and requested gun manufacturers and vendors from displaying EBRs. The show got cancelled after there was a public outcry. Cost the city millions upon millions of dollars in tourist revenue as a result. The NRA stepped in and created an entirely new show with a similar format. Only this time all gun manufacturers were in the same hall, where at the previous show they were scattered around the different halls depending on what they were promoting. The Great American Outdoor Show is larger and better, as a result.

Re: Harrisburgh Great Outdoor show
It's actually illegal in some places to be cashless bc it discriminates against certain sects of the population (homeless etc) - aside from being shady as hell.. push back whenever you see this... there is also NO COIN SHORTAGE (ask how I know) that happened bc coins need to be circulated to prevent buildups in some areas vs shortages in others - the Fed has deep reserves of coinage to help when this occurs but don't want it released bc then they (private entity) pay shipping/ logistics - instead they have the Mint overproduce (during which they tell banks to say there is a shortage) so that the cost gets passed on to the taxpayer - not them. The Mint never shut down during the entire scamdemic - not once, and worked a 24-6 schedule making in excess of 10M coins per day for the past 3 years.
