Re: Time to build an AR or keep waiting?
To be honest, I don*t know. There is a lot of very fine machining and polishing. I*m not even sure if it*s worth it for an AR yet.
What is steering me towards it is the Triggertech(I think Primary model) I put on my Remington 700. I have it set to 2.5 lbs and I*ve checked it multiple times with a Lyman gauge over the span of a year, there*s maybe an ounce of deviation. Absolutely no take up or over travel, just a nice clean break. It*s a trigger you have to feel to understand.

Re: Time to build an AR or keep waiting?
As I’ve said for a while, just be mindful that as parts come back in, there could be a higher level of QA/QC issues due to supply shortages and companies scrambling to restock shelves before their competitor. Even higher tier companies might have something slip through more often that normal right now.
If you buy from a reputable source, you’ll be able to hold them accountable for a replacement part (should it be out of spec) and they’ll most certainly replace it. Fly by night companies or ones that tend to have a bad rep already should just be avoided to begin with.
As for spare parts, extra are great. Especially when you get good prices. Just be careful... it can get... excessive?
Spend money wiser than I did.
