AIWB Holster
Hey all, I didn't notice a sub forum for holsters.
I was looking at Haley's holster and ran across the Phenom series for appendix.
I'm new to appendix carry, but I feel it will be great for summer carry for concealment.
I looked at the Incog, then the Phenom.
There isn't many reviews or videos on the Phenom Stealth or Speed, so I figured I'd raise the question.
Is the Phenom better or worse than the Incog? I think it is just an updated version?
Do you prefer the stealth or speed, and besides price, any reason?
Does the "Moclaw" claw, actually help, or snake oil type advertisement?
I'm carrying a G19 normally, and I dock my pistol when in my vehicle (I know, some despise that, but.. this is me).
I also carry a 26 or other sub compacts, but not always. Appendix seems the best teeshirt concealment for me.
If you have any other appendix style holsters you would reccomend, I'm all ears (eyes...).
Thanks,
JG

Re: AIWB Holster
I use a raven concealment eidolon and it is by far the best AIWB holster I’ve ever used, super comfortable and conceals VERY well due to the wedge that pushes the back of the slide in towards you and the claw that turns the grip towards you. I use it for my G19 and 26 as the full size holster fits both.

Re: AIWB Holster
I ordered the phenom stealth after some self deliberation.
I will do some comparison as it can be used 4 o clock as well. I'll reply back when I get it with some initial thoughts. Hopefully it isn't "trial and error" my holster stack is becoming a tad big.

Re: AIWB Holster
I don't understand most of what you posted since I don't carry appendix, but Bravo Concealment (Texas) was suggested to me and I like the holster I got from them. It's OWB, but they have several styles, and appendix is one of them.
I've never heard the term "docking" used for stowing a gun in a car.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: AIWB Holster
No biggie, I actually do have a Bravo holster. I am just changing carry positions and am looking for the best option. I figured I will give Haley's creation a go considering his position in the firearms world.
I'll definitely keep you guys updated once I get it and post a couple updates once worn daily.
