Misinformation at local shop
I stopped by a local shop to see if they got anything new in and overheard the two gentleman working in the store explain to a guy buying a gun that you can only CC in Pennsylvania. One of the guys came over and asked if I wanted to look at anything and I simply asked, "I thought you could open carry in PA." He told me "No, that's only in Texas and maybe Arizona...you can only CC in PA--and must have a permit to do so."
I just said, "okay," and left the store without fighting the issue. Tempted to send the store one of the flyers.

There is no way I'd have left without informing them otherwise and would have handed them a pile of pamphlets. I print them and deliver them regularly to the shops I frequent. One shop is now offering one upon the sale of a handgun and have issued hundreds of pamphlets. Next time when the oppurtunity arises, PLEASE inform correctly.

Re: Misinformation at local shop
First off, a lot of people working at gun shops are morons. Trust me... I used to work at one so I know... a lot of my fellow employees didn't know shite, but made sure they talked like they did.
Secondly, what is it with this impression that Texas has super-lax gun laws? In a lot of ways and in a lot of jurisdictions, their laws are more restrictive than here in PA.
