Re: Anyone familiar with the Murrysville Rifle Club?
Not knowing what you are looking for in a gun club. It looks like Murrysville is like Vandergrift sportsman’s club, No rapid fire Rifle. Being from Greensburg if you are just looking for a cheap place too shoot, vandergrift is $45.00 a year. Coming up 66 VSC would be about the same distance as The Murrysville club. If you are looking for a range to fire semi-auto rifle you may want to check into PMSC.

Fairchance Gun Club in Fayette County on 119. $30 a year dues, beautiful large rifle range out to 200 yards, pistol range, too, along with skeet and trap.

Re: Anyone familiar with the Murrysville Rifle Club?
Not looking for anything real fancy, just some basic pistol/rifle/clays and inexpensive. Figure I'll try to shot every few months. Not sure I'd be able to make required meetings of other clubs. PMSC is nice, and nearly everyone recommends it, but it's too expensive for me.
Used to the public ranges in FL.

Here is the link to VSC, The club is about 5 miles north of Delmont just off 66. I have belonged to VSC for 3 years and have not been to a meeting yet . Nice club with a good bunch of guys.

Not sure where you got your information on rapid fire restrictions at Murrysville Rifle Club. I have fired handguns, shotguns and rifles rapid fire there without any issues.

The rule may not be enforced; I am not a member of the Murrysville club. However you may want to refer to rule #5. In the above link to the Murrysville club Rules.
