Walk in access to the lower Yough river
I know this is non "gun" related but thought it would get the most traffic . I am wanting to do a lot more fishing this year and have never really fished the Yough river much , I'm gonna be after catfish , channel cats especially . I don't have a boat to float it so I'll be on the shore. My question is where is there walking to shore access say from smithton on down to the mon ? Looking for some places I can safely park my car and walk down to the river .
Thanks , Tim

Check out Little Boston. Just across the bridge on the right is a ball park, boat ramp and parking. There is a bike trail that's walkable and runs along the river.
BTW, are you still shooting HP?Last edited by Hawk; March 18th, 2016 at 01:42 PM.

Re: Walk in access to the lower Yough river
It's just past where Rt148 and Rt48 merge (also known as Walnut St).
We are starting up the new season of CMP/HP practice at PMSC on April 3rd. As before, 1st Sunday of every month April - November (open to the public). This was the first winter at PMSC that we cancelled the shoots. Not enough participation in the winter months. Hope to make it down to Clairton this season. Hope to see you around.Toujours prêt
