Re: Hamburg PA Military Surplus
The surplus place in Hamburg is not impressive. Got 4 adult small camo tshirts for $10 for my son the other weekend on the way back from Cabelas, but that's about it unless you want patches or can openers.
Army-Navy in Pottstown has had threads on here in the past. They don't like people carrying in their store, but I've never had a problem concealed. Store is a bit crowded, but they have plenty of mall ninja stuff as well as the usual canteens, BDU stuff, pins and patches.
Pottstown store is on High St between Hanover and Charlotte. No website but you can find phone and hours online.
Makes me long for the days of my youth walking through I. Goldberg's stores.

The Hamburg one .....a little of this and that, if you have a specific need and are willing to spend some time really looking through all the crap you might find a decent deal or equipment you want in decent shape.
They had some of the smaller "tactical" digi-cam backpacks that were priced ok and looked in good shape. Didn't buy at the time, talked to my son and he said to get him one, went back and they were gone. The owner? said they turn over a lot and to check back for new stuff. I will stop on occasion just to look. The ammo can prices are high.....but so is everyones prices on ammo cans.
I miss the good old days....I usually see better prices on milsurp and better quantity at the flea markets from private sellers."Disperse you Rebels! Damn you! Throw down your Arms and Disperse!" British Major Pitcairn at Lexington April 19, 1775

I need to get there over the holiday.
I used to go to a place called tent City in Rochester NY when I was younger. It was freaking awesome!Gunowner99 - NRA Benefactor Life Member

They have a combo of tacticool and milsurp items, but no extraneous bs. Generally they seem to be overpriced. They did have a few hard-to-find items, though.

I've been to it a couple of times (Hamburg). Small. Not too bad........worth a stop if you are in the area.
Someone mentioned the I. Goldberg Store....now THAT was a surplus store. Had their catalog as a boy. Still have two shelter halves from Goldberg.A Republic, if you can keep it.
