York county Cleo
I live In Delta Pa York county and Im trying to figure out who the Cleo is for my C&R application. I have only seen state police cars in the area and I don't think the township has a police department at all. Does anyone know for sure who the Cleo so I can get the forms filled out and ruin my bank account and credit cards forever? lol

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Re: York county Cleo
And your correct, Delta has no Police Department, they rely on State Police I believe. You live in an area where I like to say "When seconds count…PSP is up in Dillsburg."

State Police?
Or York Area Regional Police? http://www.yapd.org/
Or Southern Regional Police? http://www.srpd.us/
Either of those could respond more quickly than PSP I would think. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Re: York county Cleo
The only police of any sort I have seen since I have lived here is a psp officer. Apparently he drives through the neighborhood on Thursdays lol. I have seen a few around but Im betting Im on my own if something happens. All of the neighbors close to me are well armed and Im sure most others are too. Im not terribly concerned with lack of police. Its quite nice actually. Everyone leaves each other alone for the most parts. Shooting is common and sirens are rare.

PSP covers that whole area. Delta, Airville, Getchelsville, etc. I grew up down that way. We had to call the police one time. Took em 25 minutes to get there.

Re: York county Cleo
I have a C&R and live in York.
I sent the copy to the Sheriff (there is no sign off or anything like NFA but you have to send him a copy)

Re: York county Cleo
regarding NFA, is the York Co Sheriff agreeable, in general? or do you have experience with him and NFA applications?

Re: York county Cleo
Yes he is, I had no trouble with my SBR paperwork. The sheriff is gun friendly and a good guy. The Sheriff is the CLEO in York county, not the state police.
