Firearm safety course
Wife wants to buy a pistol, but she wants formal instruction. Any thoughts on where? We are in Greencastle.

Re: Firearm safety course
Here is a link to the NRA's course finding site: http://nrainstructors.org/searchcourse.aspx
The "NRA Basic Pistol Basic Pistol" course is a good place for her to get started, and she can take it before her purchase if she likes. The instructors will be able to help her with selection of something that will suit her properly. If she has already made a purchase by the time the course starts, they can help familiarize her with the care and operation of her new purchase.
Here are some descriptions of the courses: http://pun.org/courses.html
Happy shooting!

Re: Firearm safety course
Shooters Range in Chambersburg offers courses. They have a classroom on site, plus indoor range. Not to mention during lunch break, Hamilton Heights Market is only a couple doors away. Good subs.
