Cleafield County Fair and CCW
Hi, fairly new to the site. My wife and I are going to the Clearfield Co Fair and was wondering if anyone knows if you can legally carry at the Clearfield Co. Fair? On their website it says no weapons/guns allowed, but it is private property? can they legally restrict carrying? TIA.

The penalty for carrying concealed on private property is... being told to leave.
The penalty for refusing to leave is a different matter- the offense is ... Defiant trespass?
I note the " flash mobs" of last summer and I know that tweakers are rampant in rural and urban PA.
At any rate, I stay armed when I go out and I will live with the consequences. You makes your choices and lives with them.American by BIRTH, Infidel by CHOICE

The Clearfield fair used to be a great place to go.Now you have groups of kids walking around like
They own the place, picking fights and stealing from vehicles. At any of the 3 gates is a sign that says no weapons but you can go inside and buy knives, swords and sometimes numb chucks or how ever you spell it.So even keeping your side arm in you vehicle isn't a good idea

I have carried there the past 3 years concealed and will do so again. I never noticed the signs I need to be more observant.
