Re: just bought a camp
Alright I am guessing you are familiar with the area, Coming from Loleta head towards Belltown, about 6 miles out of loleta you will see that the road splits going toward ridgeway and the other toward bellown. Turn Left towards ridge way you will see a sign "Hallton 5mi" As you approch the town you will come to a curve to the left with a road to the right leading to the river. Turn right on to that road. You across an old iron bridge, at the en turn left and the "hilton" is on the right "looks like a big white house". It will be the first building you come to after crossing the bridge. And it is an exprience

Re: just bought a camp
Please pardon this dumb question from a life-long suburbanite: What do you mean when you say you 'bought a camp?"
To me, it means you bought a campground, where other people set up tents, etc... I'm guessing you mean you bought a large number of acres on which YOU can camp, but which has no buildings, etc...?

Re: just bought a camp
Yeah we purchased a camp. 4 acres and a pond which goes straight into the state game lands. We fixed it up quite nicely and are adding a deck in the upcomming weeks. we have septic, water, propane and electric. Its pretty cozy in the winter when we turn the pellet stove on and the nieghbors are awesome. cant wait for archery to kick off.

Good for you, it sounds like a great place to relax. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
Some people just plain suck.
If you're gonna be dumb ya gotta be tough.

Re: just bought a camp
Can't say how happy I am for you, freinds and family!
The addiction started in 1970.A very good freind of mine invited me up to his camp.1970-1988,I could not not stay away from the place.I swore that someday,I would find a way to live in the area,(around the Jefferson-Clarion)
border. In 2006,my wife and I found a secluded five acre lot bordering state game lands and now have a humble 2000 sq.ft. home with three fire-places with an incredible veiw.Never did get it out of my system.
I wish you and your's the same happyness my wife and I have found!
