Re: Bucks County Coyotes
I've been seeing foxes since I moved to the area in 1995 but this is the first I've even heard of coyotes in Lower Bucks. No worries, I'm far from picking a fight but is this a substanciated report or word of mouth?
I spend a lot of time in the woods along the Neshaminy and see lots of tracks, a fair amount of beavers, owls, the occasional pheasant or turkey and enough deer to feed an army. I haven't seen anything nor heard of coyotes but admittedly I wouldn't know a coyote track or scat. When the SHTF......be the fan.

Spotted one in Tyler Park,no suprise there,& at the Langhorne Rod & Gun Club. They're probably doing the same as the deer, traveling along the Neshaminy Creek

Was at a guys house who lives by the Churchville Reservoir last Saturday, his backyard backs up to a cornfield & you can see some of the lake,he says a neighbor recently shot one with a bow & he sees them all the time. He pointed out several dens by the cornfield area & has found several dead fawns that look like they were attacked & eaten

Re: Bucks County Coyotes
I spend some warmer weather time walking the reservoir, as well as along the creek and LRGC. So far I haven't seen a thing, damnit.
But last summer during the drought the reservoir was very low and I was walking out there. I did come across quite a few tracks in the mud that I assumed were dogs. Hm, maybe not. When the SHTF......be the fan.

Re: Bucks County Coyotes
I've done some research and it comes up positive that coyotes live in the area. I also found an article stating that a local trapper get 5 to 10 a years. I've since also learned the difference between a common dog and coyote tracks and the habits of coyotes. I've seen no sign of them in the woods by me (near LRGC) but feel confident in my research and the reports given here, we have coyotes.

I read an article last week that said coyotes have been in the state since the late 1930's.
