Re: Conventional Pistol 2nd Challenge
Saleen: 291 in .22. One target clean. Yes, I'd say the bar was set high. The best that I've ever done is 289 and that was a while ago.
Shooting the NJ State Championships tomorrow - my first 2700 in 14 years. I've been shooting galleries every year but nothing outdoors.
We'll see.

Re: Conventional Pistol 2nd Challenge
If you want you can take photos (with cell phone or digital camera, that should be easy) of your NJ Championship National Match Course targets and post them with the scores.
I don't believe anyone else would object either since the targets will be fired under strict match conditions to say the very least.
Have fun tomorrow!
NOTE: It is not neccessary to shoot .22, Centerfire and .45 for this Conventional Pistol Challenge. An entrant may fire any or all events as he chooses.Last edited by Brick; September 23rd, 2010 at 11:46 AM.

Re: Conventional Pistol 2nd Challenge
OK. Here's a set of gallery targets that I shot last week for a match at Metropolitan Rod and Gun Club in Brooklyn, NY.
Slow fire:
Timed fire:
Rapid fire:
We'll see about the targets from tomorrows match....it's been a while since I shot outdoors.

Re: Conventional Pistol 2nd Challenge
Y'know....I'm guessing that it is the change in perspective but I noticed upon looking at those pictures posted, that each target has a "flier" in the same spot (sorta kinda) - the 1 o'clock/2 o'clock part of the target face.
Gonna hafta look after that.

Re: Conventional Pistol 2nd Challenge
The competition is now closed. Thank you and good shooting to all who entered.
Congratulations to Saleen322 as our winner, his excellent 291 set the bar high indeed.
