Pottsville Native
A little about me,
I was born and raised in Pottsville. Grad. Pottsville High 1987 Went in the Army and now I reside in Durham NC.
I have lots of Family and friends still there in Pottsville and I visit at least twice a year.
Miss the small town atmosphere.
Looks like I found a great web site and hope to meet some new friends on here.

Re: Pottsville Native
I spent the first 20 years of my life in St. Clair, and graduated from Pottsville Area High School in '93. I've been living in Lancaster County since I got out of the Army in '97, but it will never really feel like home.
The Burma range is still my favorite place to shoot!

Welcome to the club, one quick question. Can you get Yuengling in NC?

Re: Pottsville Native
Actually its very popular here, Its in all the sports bars, and even given away by a radio station as a prize. The station is 96.1 a hard rock station and when the temp reaches 96 deg you need to be the 10th caller.
The signs and advertisements are very popular too, I am not sure if the beer is actually from Pottsville , I heard a rumor that Budweiser actually brews it somewhere in SC
Thanks for all the welcomes,

Re: Pottsville Native
The Pottsville brewery is kept open mainly for continuity so they can claim to have the oldest continuously operating brewery in the US. They have two or three other breweries that produce the bulk of their product. I am pretty sure one of them is in Florida.
And it is NOT made by Budweiser. Yuengling is the largest beer distributor to make their beer from corn (from Indiana not PA) rather than wheat.
