Re: 3 x 3 challange - by May 31
Forgot to ask early on. Are we measuring center to center or outer most edges?

i always thought off hand was just shooting with your hands only, no resting or leaning. can mean 2hands, SHO or WHO just whatever you want. and i always measure left edge of grease ring to left edge or right to right.

Crap, I replied to these this morning but it must not have went through.
I was figuring center to center which is how I measured. Appears dunsho did as well. Hopefully 3rdChance did too, but shouldn't matter much since he used .22
No, standing without a rest. Hold it any way you like, just don't use a rest.The right to bear arms isn't for hunting bear. Subliminal Messages

Here's my submittal for the "scoped" catagory.
For some reason I just couldn't put anything decent together with irons.

Here's my submittal, in before the buzzer!!
Ruger MKIII 22/45, open sights, Federal Automatch 40 gr.
5yds - 31/32"
10 yds - 1-3/32"
15 yds - 1-27/32"
Avg. = 1-5/16" (or 1-10/32")
CZ 75B Semicompact, 9mm, open sights, S&B 124 gr FMJ
5 yds - 25/32"
10 yds - 21/32"
15 yds - 2-15/32"
Avg. = 1-5/16" (or 1-10/32")
CZ 85B, 9mm, open sights, S&B 124gr FMJ
5 yds - 1-9/32"
10 yds - 1-9/32"
15 yds - 2-17/32"
Avg. = 1-11/16" (or 1-22/32")
It appears I need to work on my longer distances with the CZ's, but otherwise I'm fairly happy with these.
Thanks for starting these challenges tlgpa.
