99 years... one to go...
who do you guys think will produce a 100 year anniversary 1911?!? im all for it, and hope that i can buy one from whoever makes one, but would hope the design would be true to origonal specs...
my money is on Springfield to have one and maybe kimber...
any input, hopes or flames?!?!
maybe im too eager for this since we are only a few days into the year long wait! lolThis Space For Rent

I agree with PA patriot - nearly every company that produces the 1911 will make one. Though, I'd say Colt will probably be the most sought after.

You know the king of commemoratives will produce one....with a prancing horse on the side...colt that is....the original......a "1911" with "made in brazil" on the slide is not a commemorative! It will be 100 years that COLT has been making the 1911 not taurus, kimber,springfield,smith&wesson,toyota,mitsubishi or mercedes LOL

Colt will make the must-have commemorative model & of course, it'll be pricey.
