Allabaugh told the bartender he did not have any weapon. He then raised his arm and the bartender told investigators she heard a gunshot and Hollman fell to the ground. Allabaugh ran out of the bar and was followed by other patrons including Mark Ktypor. Ktypor told investigators when he exited the bar he saw Luzetsky on the ground between two parked cars.

Ktypor was walking down the street and noticed Allabaugh behind him with a handgun in his hand. Allabaugh allegedly aimed the gun at Ktypor and Ktypor unholstered his handgun and fired four shots at Allabauigh, according to charges filed. Ktypor called 911 after he saw Allabaugh fall to the ground. Luzetsky's sister Amanda Luzetsky said Monday her brother "was in the wrong place at the wrong time."
They said on the news that Ktypor had a LTCF and, so far, will not be charged.
