Default Source for a suppressor cover?

Anyone know of a "homemade", Mother Earth's News suppressor cover?

"NOMEX" cover material seems to be hard to find, I was thinking maybe like a length of radiator hose slipped over the can?

    Thanks for the brainstorm!

Check out Tom Bower's stuff. Seems to have quit a few sizes.

    Thanks Nate,

Actually looked at Bowers (as I have a CAC380), but didn't want to drop the bucks for a silicone cover if a locally-fabbed subsitute - radiator hose? - could be found.

    Gotcha.
I know you said local, but i use both of these guys for silicone couplers for my intercoller piping and turbos.
    They might work for you.

either way, i would go with a silicone hose over a "rubber" radiator hose.
Only hard part will be finding a straight piece on the diameter you want.
    good luck

Are you covering to protect it, or to prevent burning yourself?
"...a REPUBLIC, if you can keep it."

Little of both, just wanted to get the non-commercial look of the rubberized black.
