Source for a suppressor cover?
Anyone know of a "homemade", Mother Earth's News suppressor cover?
"NOMEX" cover material seems to be hard to find, I was thinking maybe like a length of radiator hose slipped over the can?
Thanks for the brainstorm! All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

Re: Source for a suppressor cover?
Thanks Nate,
Actually looked at Bowers (as I have a CAC380), but didn't want to drop the bucks for a silicone cover if a locally-fabbed subsitute - radiator hose? - could be found. All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

Re: Source for a suppressor cover?
Gotcha.
I know you said local, but i use both of these guys for silicone couplers for my intercoller piping and turbos.
They might work for you.

either way, i would go with a silicone hose over a "rubber" radiator hose.
Only hard part will be finding a straight piece on the diameter you want.
good luck

Re: Source for a suppressor cover?
Are you covering to protect it, or to prevent burning yourself?
"...a REPUBLIC, if you can keep it."
