    Smile imr 8208 xbr

i been playing with this powder in 308 for my tacticle savage. using lapau brass federal 210 primers, got up to 42.9 gr. also using hornady 168 a max. so far 42.5 gives best groups but still not all that impressive they are ok for hunting loads but not what i was hoping. so far n150 is the best choice for my savage 43.5 gr. col at 2.800 with above brass and primers, im am getting 5 shot groups at less than 1/2 inch. sorry do not have a chrony for other info, one is on my shopping list any brand or model sugestions are welcome. i am going to try this powder in some other calibers i will let you all know how i make out. happy shooting be safe and remember aim small shoot small. red dog

Thanks for the feedback, and hope you can report on .223 and .243 loads.

As for chronographs; in the inexpensive category, IMO and experience the only one to look at is the ProChrono Digital after suffering through two Shooting Chronys and Shooting Chronys Piss poor, rude Canadian customer service.
