Eotech hood on Bushnell Holoscope?

I have a Bushnell Holoscope and was wondering if anyone has investigated or even tried to put an Eotech hood on a Bushnell Holoscope? Can you buy an Eotech hood separately from Eotech?

REPLACES DAMAGED PROTECTIVE HOODS FOR THE EOTECH 511/512/551/552. DOES NOT INSTALL ON THE 502 OR BUSHNELL HOLOSIGHT SERIES.

Really, unless you have some obvious screw holes (covered by stickers or small plugs) I'd say no... They may have used bigger boards with cheaper components that end close to the plastic case, and anchoring screws into it may mess that up.

Just sell it and get an EoTech.

Is your gun subject to rough treatment? (dropping, banging against stuff, etc)? If not, you really don't need the EOTech over the Holosight. If you need the hood, then by all means get an EOTech, but if not, don't waste the money since the optics are the same.

The eotechs are waterproof, have the better 'rev f' electronics that I don't think made it to the bushnell, and the eotech comes in a AA version.

I don't have 123's or N's for anything else so the AA version stood out as a "want" for me.
