    Default need to do a transfer on a longrifle?

    I was told by the people at cabelas that when I buy my friends 10/22 ruger i dont have to have it transfered because it is not a concealable weapon. is this correct?

    correct, under pa law only hand guns must go through a ffl

    . . . assuming that you're both PA residents. Otherwise, it has to go through an FFL (in either state).
