Default Yeehaah! Look what the UPS man just dropped off! (AR parts)

Just received a nice brown box! And in it were the first of my AR parts from anvil arms! Needless to say its like Christmas!
They should be shipping my lower to my FFL any day now. So all i need (according to them) is the BCG, still searching for one of those.

Here is a photo, and a list of what i have. The only thing that i dont see (and you have to remember this is my first AR build/own, so i dont know what i'm doing. ) is the little tube that goes from the gas block/front sight, back to the receiver... Not even sure what its called...
Now i'm going to need some help putting this baby together.

    It's called the......................Gas Tube .

Do you have your barrel wrench and torque wrench? How about anti-seize paste for the barrel nut?

Looks like you're well on your way to contracting the evil black rifle disease (which there is no known cure )

Nice start to the EBR! I finally got most of my Anvil rifle together, and can almost go shoot it, can't wait!

don't forget to grab a delta ring, weld spring and snap ring!! Holding the hand guards on with duct tape never works out well. not to mention taking the barrel back off to install the delta ring after an OOPS I think something is missing kinda moment hits you.

Hmm, Emily from Anvil said that the only thing i need yet is the BCG... So if i need a delta ring and ect. I better contact her back and see if she forgot them, or what...

If this is your first AR build I would recommend the AR book by Kuhnhausen(sp).
It details how to assemble the parts and problem areas to check. The torque specs are included and where to put anti seize paste. I launched the spring and pin that holds the buffer in place. The book cautioned me about that but I still put it in orbit.
The book is money well spent. Memory fails me but I believe it was about $20.
