Default Adams Arms AR15s, how are they?

Came across a deal on a piston driven AR by Adam Arms but Ive never heard of them.

It comes with Samson furniture (never heard of them either).

Would appreciate any opinions or feedback on their products.

Samson has been in the game for awhile. I had one of their rails on one of my early ARs, my buddy has the new rail on his long range, and my dad had one on his early AR also. I've never heard or saw anything bad about them. Their sights are decent to from what I remember.

Adams has been doing piston guns and conversions for a minute. I think they are based on a short stroke design versus a long stroke. I've never shot one but I've heard they aren't as smooth as a long stroke like a PWS. The other thing I've heard is keep an eye out for carrier tilt. Their system has been refined over the years and these shouldn't be an issue but just telling ya what I've heard in the past.

Over all usually a decent price for what you get.

I can't say anything bad about my Mk116 either. Comparing Adams and PWS are like comparing apples to oranges, two different operating systems. Is Osprey short stroke or long stroke?

Same here. I have two LWRC uppers on a pair of lowers and they run great, canned or not. One is a 16" and the other is a 10.5" CQB.

I beat the ever living snot out of my AA 5.45x39 upper. 99.8% of the time it is full auto, other than the odd ball guy who comes to a machine gun shoot and flips the switch to semi....i should start throwing them off the line....lol
I've lost exact count of the total rounds through it up to this past fall. It has to be well over 12k at this point.
The only AA part i have broken is the C-clip that holds the spring plunger together on the gas block to adjust the gas system from OFF/SUPPRESSED/ON. This is not a big deal to me, they are $.03 at my local hardware store.
Oh wait, i did snap the tip off of a firing pin in September. Again this was 10k-12k rounds into it.
